Chapel services are held daily. All teachers and pupils are required to attend. Parents are invited to chapel at all times and are encouraged to attend at least one service during the year. Each grade meets for Christian Education classes once a week, in which emphasis is on the Christian tradition and values.

Music instruction is given twice each week by a qualified music teacher. Emphasis is placed on vocal music and rhythm for pre-schoolers. The program in grades one through five includes vocal music, instrumental instruction, movement, theory and appreciation.

In the pre-school the flexible daily routine provides opportunity for developing large and small motor skills on the playground. Physical skills are developed in the classroom as well.

Grades K through 5 are provided recesses each day with opportunity for free play or planned games.

In addition to free play, all classes receive more formal physical training during a 30 minute period each day under the guidance of a qualified Athletic Director. Proper muscular development and sportsmanship are achieved through a balance of physical exercises and training in games.

After school sports are coordinated with the New Iberia Recreation Department in sports such as volleyball, soccer, softball and baseball. The students in 4th and 5th grades participate in these sports and play against other elementary schools in the parish.

Art instruction for all classes is offered weekly by a qualified art teacher. The program includes art appreciation, as well as experiences in the various media.

French instruction is offered weekly to all students in an effort to introduce them to a foreign language and conversational French.

All students have a class library period in which library skills are taught. Younger children have story time and older children use the library in conjunction with class projects.

Grades Kindergarten through Five have a weekly computer class in which they are introduced to basic computer skills. Those skills can then be used in the classroom. Each class has its own computer. The computer lab is fully equipped for the use of a full class and is connected to the internet.  A copy of the Epiphany Day School Internet access and use policy is available in the school office.
